About Us

Our goal is to provide children of all backgrounds an opportunity to learn and thrive in an immersion environment, preparing them for Kindergarden and beyond. We are an accredited preschool under the State of California. A mix of native Spanish-speaking children and newcomers to the language help maintain our immersion environment, and a variety of activities, from reading and writing to artwork and playing, encourage all our children to learn while having fun.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to form a partnership with our student’s families and to guarantee them that we are committed to their child’s educational needs. We will keep close communication with parents so that they may know their child’s development and evolvement. We will provide a proper learning environment, gauge a child’s needs and understand the functions of both teacher and parent, thus making us more efficient in being able to provide all students at Amigos the best learning experience which will stimulate their development.
When contents are taught according to the proper stages of a child’s development, children are more apt to become successful students, who are excited about what they are learning and are up for the challenges that lie ahead. We will conduct an observational cycle in which both parent and teacher interact on a constant basis and together decide how and when to respond to the different individual and collective needs.
To a small child, no place is more important than home and school and they must cross the bridge between both on a daily basis. If both home and school are connected in positive and respectful way then the child will most surely feel completely secure.
